Does your child have any food preferences? Well, it depends how old is/are your child/children. As they grow older, they do developed one or few. For my princess, she does have a few.
Hate list.
Rice (Prepared in any style, except congee and rice w/ soup from fish steamboat. Don’t ask me what’s the diff compare to the one w/fish soup. Cause I can’t tell the taste diff except they add sour plum and yam in the fish steamboat.)
Puree/Mash
Durian (Wat a shame!!)
Love list
Ice Cream (Tis is one of the 1st word that Gab can pronounce and remember instantly when taught. Whenever we passed by any ice cream place, she never fail to say “Wah, i-cream”.)
Cake
French fries/potato wedges
Chilled green tea
Biscuits
Cheesy stuffs
Milky stuffs
Bread/prata/puffs
Noodles
Selected veg
Recently, we tried to introduce some hot stuff (chili) to Gab. So far so good. I still remember the 1st time she took Pasta that was mixed with chili powder. First, she look abit shocked and secs later, her face and neck turned pink. Okay, it’s in a darker shade. Then she would start to chew her food real slowly, slowly and she turned to us with a “Do you know what you are doing but tis is nothing to me. I can cope” smile. Sound complex? But tat’s what we saw in her smile. She is brave. So far she has tried laksa, dried noodles w/ chili sauce. Wonder wat’s next……. Chili crabs?? ;)
